In the 17th century, Thevan, a folk singer, flees from slave traders and seeks refuge in a forest with his friend Kora. While there, they encounter a succubus, who takes away Kora, leading to his disappearance. Lost and weary, Thevan stumbles upon a seemingly abandoned mansion, where he encounters its enigmatic owner, Manakkal Kodumon Potti, and his cook. Despite initially declining Potti's offer of shelter, Thevan reluctantly agrees to stay the night.
